For the fourth consecutive year, Northern Credit Union was named a Best Credit Union to Work for and was ranked #7 nationally in the $200-$500 million asset category. The credit union was ranked 14th overall out of approximately 6,000 total credit unions across the country.

Northern Credit Union, alongside 55 other institutions, were ranked in American Banker’s annual Best Credit Unions to Work For, a list formerly produced by Credit Union Journal, now part of American Banker.
This annual program evaluates and ranks the best places of employment based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies. It is unique because employees’ survey responses factor into the ranking formula. This year’s list highlights those credit unions that have gone the extra mile to boost employee morale and preserve their organizational culture throughout the pandemic, taking initiative to cater to the needs of remote work and those who have returned to (or never left) the office.
